What are the shipping details?

For local Long Island Delivery:
Orders are due on Fridays by 11:59pm and will be delivered Sunday for $15.

For Regular UPS Shipping:
Shipping costs $19.99 or $29.99 due to the location of your residency and special packaging. Some states require 2-day shipping. If ground shipping isn’t shown, it might be because your location is a bit far from our headquarters in New York. Orders are all made fresh and process in 48 hours before shipping on business days.

Please note that carriers like UPS do not deliver on Thursday-Sunday, especially in hot areas during the summer months.

What are your Long Island pickup details?

Orders placed everyday can be picked up for free the same day you order within open hours of the selected location. Most orders are ready quickly within at least 2 hours of placing.

Are the meals cooked fresh or are they frozen?

They arrive fully cooked and delivered chilled, so you only need to reheat them. Sometimes we flash freeze them right before shipping for added freshness during the hotter months and areas they are being shipped to.

How do I heat and prepare the meals?

For most Hummus Fit meals:

• Remove the plastic cover completely (DO NOT microwave any foil stickers).

• Take out any sauce containers and keep them aside.

• Put a wet paper towel over top of the meal to trap in moisture and heat.

• Microwave for about 2 minutes depending on your microwave.

• Stir the food about halfway through cooking, then continue heating in 30-second intervals if it is not hot enough.

• Lastly, add the sauce or garnish and eat.

The meals are already fully cooked, so you are reheating rather than cooking them from scratch. You can also transfer the meal to a hot plate or skillet and heat with a splash of water to keep the meal moist.

What is the shelf life of Buffin Muffins?

• Up to 14 days in the refrigerator after delivery
• Up to 60 days in the freezer

Each muffin also comes with a sell-by date. For freezing, we recommend sealing it in a freezer bag to protect the quality and flavor.

Can I freeze the Buffin Muffins?

Yes. For extended storage, you can freeze the muffins for up to 60 days. To preserve their quality and flavor, we recommend sealing them in a freezer bag before freezing.
